There are various types of angles in geometry. In this lesson, you will learn different types of angles with examples.
Acute Angles: An angle which is more than 0 degree and less than 90 degrees is called an acute angle. For example 20 degrees, 30 degrees, 45 degrees, 89 degrees, etc.
Right Angle: An angle which is exactly 90 degree is known as a right angle. For example 90 degrees.
Obtuse Angle: An angle which is more than 90 degree and less than 180 degrees is known as an obtuse angle. For example, 120 degrees, 150 degrees, 179 degrees, etc.
Straight Angle: An angle which is exactly 180 degree is known as a straight angle. For example 18 degrees.
Reflex Angle: An angle that is greater than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees is known as reflect angle. For example, 230 degrees, 300 degrees, 359 degrees, etc.
One Complete Turn Angle: An angle is exactly 360 degrees is known as one complete turn angle. For example 360 degree.
